Still at least 15 Tundra Bean Geese and two European White-fronted Geese in a field by the A761 north of Cloak Road, near Kilmacolm NS348726.

Wednesday 8 February
18 Tundra Bean Geese and two European White-fronted Geese with 600 Greylag Geese in a field by the A761 between Port Glasgow and Kilmacolm, just before Cloak Road which leads to Auchendores Reservoir.
An adult Mediterranean Gull on ice at Hogganfield Loch in the afternoon.
An adult Mediterranean Gull on the White Cart Water behind Falcon House, Inchinnan Road, Paisley.

A 1st-winter Mediterranean Gull and a 1st-winter Iceland Gull at Hogganfield Loch in the afternoon.
15 Slavonian Grebes and 23 Red-throated Divers between Ardmore and Cardross Bay.
187 Great Crested Grebes off Ardmore, also a Grey Plover and four Pintail in the north bay.

The drake Smew again on Castle Semple Loch, also three Gadwall, later seen on the Barr Loch.
Also at the Barr Loch, a male Hen Harrier hunting at 1430 hrs, and at 1700 hrs a Short-eared Owl but no sign of the Hen Harrier.
